Supplemental Information:
The Recreation, Education, and Partnerships unit manages recreation on public land outside of formal
provincial parks. This includes Wildland Parks, such as Willmore Wilderness, as well as provincial Natural
Areas. The unit works with partner organizations to build and maintain recreational infrastructure such as
trails, trailheads, staging areas, day use, and popular random camping areas. Contact with questions or
concerns about recreational infrastructure, trail management, trail managers and partnership opportunities,
areas of trail with issues such as human safety, environmental impacts, or user conflicts.
