The Public Lands Camping Pass does not apply in the Kananaskis Conservation Pass area. The pass does not apply

Purpose:
The Public Lands Camping Pass is required to random camp on public land along the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky
Mountains from Grande Prairie to Waterton Lakes National Park, west of Highway 43 and Highway 22. A camping
pass is also required for the Willmore Wilderness Park. The spatial file is the geographic boundary for the
Public Lands Camping Pass that was established by Ministerial Order 86/2021. For more information visit
