Enumerated Domain:
Enumerated Domain Value: FLOW-ARB-DEM
Enumerated Domain Value Definition: DEM arbitrary flow representation line: A system generated flow representation line used to connect hydrography features such as single-line rivers/streams to double-line rivers or lakes; where those connections are not represented implicitly in the source data. Arbitrary flow lines are used to represent possible connectivity between hydrography entities where it is most likely to exist. Arbitrary flows are a requirement where disappearing streams occur. These disappearing streams are point features in the Hydropoints layer. The DEM generated Arbitrary Flow is constructed using the source digital elevation model in combination with stream-line algorithms (such as within ARC/INFO GRID) to derive surface drainage pattern.

Enumerated Domain:
Enumerated Domain Value: FLOW-ARB-MANUAL
Enumerated Domain Value Definition: Manual arbitrary flow representation line: A manually generated flow representation line used to connect hydrography features, such as single-line rivers/streams to double-line rivers or lakes, where those connections are not represented implicitly in the source data. Arbitrary Flow lines are used to represent possible connectivity between hydrography entities where it is most.

Enumerated Domain Value: ICEFIELD-REP-PRI
Enumerated Domain Value Definition: Icefield primary flow representation line: A system or manually generated flow representation line required in order to represent a polygonal feature as a single-line feature. A primary flow line represents the shortest path; where two or more flows may exist around an obstruction, such as an island. An Icefield/Glacier is an area of permanent ice found in mountainous terrain that is greater than 10 hectares.
